Mr.York came as our principal in 1948. He told us his two ambitions were to catch bigger fish than he had ever
caught and to make a good citizen out of every student.
Mr. Stanley Rizor was our new English teacher in 1948. He graduated from lincoln High School in Plymouth in 1939. He attended Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL for his A.B. degree and has additional schooling at Goshen College. He spent 15 months on the police force as a desk sargeant in a suburb of Chicago. His ambition is to get a Masters Degree at the University of Chicago in Sociology. He says he likes Tyner very much and hopes he will be able to teach here for many years.
The Seniors received their proofs Wednesday October 16th. The order was sent in and they expect to receive their pictures before Christmas. They received their name cards Monday, October 2oth.
