FRESHMEN NEWS
We freshmen girls are now Sunshine members. We had our rough initiation test Wednesday and after that was over we were more comfortable.
Saturday's group of 27 girls went to the Sunshine Convention at Flora. Chester Norris took us and we are very thankful to him for that favor.
The freshmen boys that will probably make the second team are as follows:

SOPHOMORE NEWS
We had a class meeting last week and discussed several projects that they might be interested in. We planned to have a movie sometime soon but no date has been set for it as yet.

NEWS
We were sorry to lose Harland Gardner and Wayne Hardesty from our class who recently quit school.
     We have four boys who will represent our class in basketball this year. They are: Earl Smith, Roland Lichtenbarger, Melvin Jones, and Bill Kreps. Work hard boys.

SENIOR NEWS

For the last week the seniors have been working very hard on their play, "We Shook the Family Tree." The play will be given November 7 and 8. You may get your tickets from any senior.
We are planning to have a turkey and chicken supper on November 21.
Last week we received our proofs for our Senior pictures from the Camp Publishing Company. Everyone had a hard time deciding which one was most flattering. We are now waiting for our pictures and the composite of our class to hang in the hall downstairs.
EIGHTH NEWS

We have divided our Eighth Grade Home Ec Class into two different classes and are going to start cooking soon. Tuesday we were assigned to the units which we are to keep all semester and arranged the utensils we will use.
We had a class meeting Monday first period, and decided to have a class party soon.
SEVENTH GRADE

We are having basketball practice every Thursday night. The boys who play are: R. Pearish, W. Cochron, E. Holm, J. Wolff, D. Drake, W. Cunningham, G. Linders, B. Klinedinst, and A. Lauderback.
We have decided to have a Christmas party if we can.
We had a spelling contest in our English, Donna and Woody were captains. Woody's team finally won, but with quite a bit of trouble. We had another one and both went down spelling.
