FIFTH  GRADE  NEWS  CONTINUED

Fire Station,  Wheelhorse Factory,  Park,  TV Station,  a store,  and  the Dairy Queen. We enjoyed the refreshment  and  souvenirs that we received at the Wheelhorse factory. We also appreciated Dwight Burch's driving for us.

The winners in the social studies project were: First place, Carol Pontius  and  Vicki Capes for their project on Lumbering;  Second place,  Susan Zartman.   Theresa Stoneburner,  Vicki Klinedinst,  and  Debra Klingerman for their project on paper. Third place,  Timothy Johnson,  Richard Lindsley,  and  Roger Miller for their project, glass.  Honorable mention was given to the project on soy beans. Randy Burkholder  and  Wendell Kemp received this honor. The third, fourth, and sixth grade visited our class room to see our displays.

This week we are working on our products maps. We find it very interesting to discover what products are grown in different parts of our country.
