After putting up a very scrappy first half the Tyner
Redmen fell under a 3 period bombardment from the LaPaz Vikings. Balke and Holland were high
with 12 and 15 points. The score by quarters was:

GROVERTOWN
In a 2nd quarter spurt the Tyner Redmen outscored the
Grovertown Rams 10 points making the half time score 12-17 in favor of Tyner. But the crafty
Rams came right back in the 2nd half to outscore us. Jim Howard and Dick Balke were high
with 14 and 9 respectively.

WEST
By getting a quick 10 point lead and hanging on to
it throughout the entire game the Wast High Bulldogs managed to come out on tiop of a 39-27
final score. Wilma and Smith were high with 11 points each.

PLYMOUTH IN TOURNEY
The Redmen had the Plymouth Pilgrims on the ropes for
the first 3 quarters in the county Tourney game. Tyner lead the first and second quarters by
as much as 6 points, but the Pilgrims came back strong in the 4th quarter after Earl Smith
and Dick Balke fouled out to weaken Tyner power. Waller and Sheetz were with 10 and 13.

HAMLET
Back on the comeback trail the Tyner quintet squeezed
past Hamlet overtime decision. It was a close game all the way, Tyner never with 5 or 6 points
lead and Hamlet always threatening. Going into the overtime tied 32 all, Waller helped his
team to victory with 5 of 10 points scored altogether in the 3-min extra period. Final score
42-37 Orr and Balke were high with 15 and 14 respectively.

GREENE
Tyner led the all the way with Greene trailing only
by 2 points at the 3 quarter mark, but a 4th quarter spurt netted 18 points for the Redmen
putting them ahead 48-41 at the final gun. In the scoring field Smith had 9 Balke had 23
and Dudeck of Green had 16.
