SENIOR CLASS NEWS

We received our class pictures and name cards, Friday. Everyone was very happy and well pleased with their pictures. Our committee for the Senior trip has made a report on the places where they intend to write for information. The class voted against the boat trip on Lake Erie.
JUNIOR NEWS
The Junior class proudly announces that they are ahead of the Seniors on selling magazines. Our goal is 500 and we get the turkey of we reach that goal. The representative of the Curtis Publishing Company for whom we are working, promised us the Seniors would cook the turkey and provide the “fixings” if we won.
SOPHOMORES NEWS

The sophomores had their history test Thursday. We are almost done with our general business work books. I English we are diagraming sentences. I’ m sure every one enjoys this type of work very much. We will also be glad to change to Literature.
EIGHTH GRADE
The eighth grade class has now finished their health books and are working on our safety pads. Some of the eighth grad Home-Ec. girls helped with the School Fair. We were sorry to have Mrs. Crabbs absent a few day ago. In the extra study periods for us read library books which were supposed to be made into book reports for English. The eighth grade enjoyed the Armistice Day program.

SEVENTH GRADE NEWS

The Seventh are getting between 60 and 100 history questions to play baseball with. They now have 50 and have had a six weeks test on them. There are several of the seventh grade girls going out for Junior High cheerleading. Carol Sue LaMunion is now the star speller in the Seventh Grade. The seventh grade has a good basketball team which we hope we can be extra proud of. We will always be proud of them even if they lose. The names of the players are:

FIFTH AND SIXTH GRADE NEWS

The boys are making good use of the outdoor basketball court. Geography students have a better idea of boundary lines since the snow has come. By radio we learned that legendary character Pecos Bill, strong man of the West. He held up a train.

FOURTH GRADE NEWS

Our weekly races in Spelling are getting very interesting. The leader now is Beverly Zink with Vivian Matthews and Alfred Klindinst running a very close second.
We are learning to give geography and health reports in the fourth grade. David Jacobson and Beverly Zink have given fine reports this week. We are wishing a very Happy Thanksgiving to each and every one.
