The class visited Senator Vance Hartke. From there they went to the Supreme Court Building, ate lunch and toured the Building of Printing and Engraving, where they saw the printing of U.S. postage stamps and money.

Saturday morning they boarded the A.B.&W. Transit bus for a trip to Arlington Cemetery to see the changing of the guard and the Statute of Iwo Jima.

Sunday morning was free thus giving the students an opportunity to go to the church of their choice. Sunday afternoon was spent in a trip to Annapolis, Maryland.

The class visited the Naval Museum, the chapel, Bancroft Hall and strolled about the grounds.

That evening, the students were taken on a night tour of Washington and stopped at the Wax Museum , Ford's Theater, where President Lincoln was assassinated, the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Memorial.
