BAND PATRON NEWS

The annual Band Supper was held on May 4 in the school cafeteria. Mrs. Wayne Matz, past President, introduced the officers for the coming year. Mrs. Harley ross, President; Mrs. John Peterson, Vice-President; Mrs. Wendell Klingerman, Secretary; and Mrs. C.E. Shank, Treasurer. Mrs. Matz gave a report on the work done by the Band Patrons sponsored a trip to the Christmas Convocation at Purdue for the band students. They purchased four new complete uniforms plus two extra hats, a concert snare drum and a mouth piece puller. A profit of $457.76 was made on the annual Fish Fry. They provided the transportation for the band to the band contest held at South Whitley and also sponsored a ttrip through the Conn Musical Co., at Elkhart for the Jr. Band members.
Entertainment for the evening was provided by the different band members.
