Well here we are in the ninth grade instead of the eighth and happy to be here.
There are now 45 pupils in our class, whereas, last year there were 43.
Our new class members are John Gross, Donald Jones, and Carole holmquist. We were glad to have had Garnett Erickson, but sorry she had to leave us.
We are sorry to have LaVerne Lowry out of our number presently. However she is recovering from her illness, and we hope to see her back with us soon.
Mr. Sullivan is our new sponsor.

There are 19 pupils enrolled in our class. We are very sorry to have lost Wanetta Jones,
but are very happy to have Rose Marie Jones this year.
Our class in World History has been studying current events to help us in our work. We have subscribed for "Every Week", a paper which will come every week. So far we have found them very interesting.

We had a class meeting the sixth period, September 23. We decided to have a bake sale.
No definite arrangements have been made as yet.
Mr. Gooch of Plymouth came to Tyner, September 11 and displayed samples of rings. We ordered the rings from him and are to receive them in November.

Everyone is wondering why the Seniors were all dressed up last Wednesday. We had our pictures taken. We are all hoping they will turn out good.
We are sorry that Betty Geist has been absent so much. We hope she will be back with us soon.
We are all working hard in Civic's to learn more about our government and how it is run.
We all "SMILED FOR THE BIRDIE" last Monday so that Mr. York could have a picture of us in his office.

We are glad to have nine pupils from Teegarden. They are; Norma Barden, Arlene Fouts, Winifred Gardner,
Keith Kaiser, Sally Lemert, Virginia Rowe, John Scarbrough, Jerry Zehner, and Shirley Williams. We also have a new pupil in our class
from Niles, Michigan. His name is Ronald Jones.
